OUR FARES
1 to 3 PASSENGERS
Per Kilometre: $3.80
Waiting/stationary: $1.00 per minute.
If you order a van specifically but there are three or less passengers, a Van Fee of $2.50 will be added to your fare.
If you use a Horizons Mobility Card there is a 50% subsidy up to $20.00
* Flagfall of $3.80 covers the urban area of Levin township, whether it be pickup, destination or both. If both pick and destination are outside of this area please contact our office for the Flagfall rate, as it may be substantially more.
4 to 9 PASSENGERS
As per above but with a $2.50 Van fee.
Please remember, it is illegal to consume alcohol and cigarettes on board a taxi and fines can be imposed if you are caught doing so.
WHEELCHAIRS / USE OF LIFT
There is a fee of $5.00 for use of the wheelchair lift. Please note that the taxi meter is started upon lowering of the lift, and ends once you have departed the lift at the end of your journey.
If you use a Horizons Mobility Card and you are approved by them to use the lift, the fee is covered by them, with the meter beginning once we drive off and ending upon reaching your destination.
We can carry mobility scooters. There is a fee of $5.00 for use of the wheelchair lift. Please note that the taxi meter is started upon lowering of the lift, and ends once you have departed the lift at the end of your journey. Your Horizons Mobility Card does not cover the use of the lift in this instance. It must also be noted that you are Not permitted to remain seated on the scooter during travel.
EVENT BOOKINGS
Please fill in the form HERE to receive a quote your event, whether it be a wedding, birthday, or other occasion. Please let us know if it is a one way journey, two way return, or a shuttle service you require, along with the number of passengers, date, time and pick up/drop off addresses. We will contact you to confirm details and give you a quote for cost/s.
ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS
Because of bank and internet charges imposed on every transaction using the mobile EFTPOS unit there is a $1 fee added to each electronic transaction. Credit cards incur a further bank charge. This is additional to the fare shown on the meter.
DEFILING/DAMAGE
If you make any mess inside the vehicle whereby it must be taken off the road for cleaning, there is a $200 defiling fee.
If you cause any physical damage to the vehicle, inside or outside, you are responsible for all costs incurred in its repair and any time the vehicle remains off the road for said repair during its scheduled work time.
DRINKING ALCOHOL
If you are caught by police consuming alcohol in a taxi you can be fined up to $300.
